Birthday shopping

Soon it is Daddy's birthday and he has already been given some birthday money by Granny so he wanted to go shopping today. Guess what - I was invited too! I am never allowed to go shopping as normally shops don't like dogs for some reason. So I thought it was very excited to be included! Here I am about to go inside:

Daddy needed new walking shoes because I have helped wear his out what with daily walks and geocaching adventures. He has been after a pair of hedgehog shoes (strange name for a pair of shoes because they are prickly little creatures?) for ages. Here I am inspecting the pair to see if they look waterproof:

He kept walking up and down the shop to see if they felt good. I said he needed me to pull him on the lead for full testing capability:

We decided they were most satisfactory and indeed ideal because they were black in colour just like me:

So one Granny has paid for these but then he still had money from other Granny so we went to look at trousers next. We thought it would be good for him to get some with lots of pockets to put all our stuff in. He disappeared in here to try them on:

He kept coming out with a different pair on for mum and me to have a look at and then disappearing again. He tool ages deciding, I got a bit bored if I'm honest:

They didn't appear to have much Noms - only Noms for fish which was a bit disappointing. They also had loads of horsey type things, I thought there must be dog stuff some where:

Finally found it but it was only a small section on the end of an aisle which I thought was a but mean seeing as dogs can go in shopping then not to have lots of exciting things for them to buy. I just came out with some boring poo bags!!!! BOL

Still it was still nice to be included.

  1. Hmmm I think a campaign is needed for more doggie stuff in Go Outdoors. On a positive note at least you got to go, I always get left behind when they go shopping.

  2. Definitely, I think Go Outdoors should add more to their stock. I am happy to act as a consultant buyer or even review some products from home!
